Conference Center:
 
All conference activities will take place in the conference center "Le Majestic", situated in the center of the picturesque city of Chamonix Mont-Blanc.
 

  This former luxury hotel, which was built at the turn of the nineteenth century has recently been fully renovated, in order to highlight its beautiful architecture.
 
  Registration will be open at the conference center from 2pm to 6pm on Sunday 8th september.
 
  The conference activities start with a welcome reception and a dinner at 7pm on sunday night.
 
  There will be a free afternoon on Tuesday. The Office du Tourisme will have a stand in the Conference center and will be happy to provide you with ideas for your free time, or for accompanying persons.
 

Venue to Chamonix Mont-Blanc:

Chamonix Mont-Blanc is about 1 hour from Geneva Airport and 2 hours from Lyon by car.
 
It is the European capital of mountaineering, alpine skiing and adventure sports.
 
  It mixes trendy boutiques, busy bars and elegant restaurants with shops selling "state of the art" mountaineering equipment.
 
  This site of the 1st Winter Olympics in 1924, which is equally attractive in winter or summer, is set in a deep valley, against the Massif du Mont Blanc.
 
  Please note that Geneva Airport is in Switzerland and you may need a Swiss visa, even if you are not staying in Switzerland.
