Find out more about Chamonix ...

Chamonix Mont-Blanc is about 1 hour from Geneva Airport, and 2 hours from Lyon by car.
It is the European capital of mountaineering, alpine skiing and adventure sports. Chamonix offers exceptional viewpoints, which can be reached either by use of the lifts or the hiking trails.
It mixes trendy boutiques, busy bars and elegant restaurants with shops selling "state of the art" mountaineering equipment.
This site of the 1st Winter Olympics in 1924, which is equally attractive in winter or summer, is set in a deep valley, against the Massif du Mont Blanc.
Please note that Geneva Airport is in Switzerland and you may need a Swiss visa, even if you are not staying in Switzerland.
